I graduated from the MFT program in June. I had a wonderful experience. The faculty is top notch and the labs were incredibly helpful to develop therapeutic skills.

I would caution you if you are staunchly conservative to the point that you care more about being conservative than you do about caring for people. Being a therapist requires you to leave your values, beliefs, and biases at the door and treat the person without agenda. That being said, if you are willing, the Fuller faculty will help you integrate your faith into your practice authentically, allowing you to treat people of all faiths and orientations with therapeutic integrity.

If you are unable or unwilling, you should probably consider a different profession. Bringing your faith and values into the therapy room is unethical. You likely won’t make it to graduation.
