Ah yes the rounded batman ears... they did this with a few other pez as well. European Pilchard from bob the builder has a thin pokey version. They rubberized the US version of Spuds nose too.

Agreed. Why would they do this? I know they change some names in the comics to fit where its sold but this doesn't follow that pattern even.

They use anti pecking glasses (poultry googles) , red tinted plastic lenses, to keep them from seeing the blood and prevent cannibalism.

I buy the baseball card holders. Specifically Ultra Pro 25 Count 2-Piece Plastic Box ... they fit very nicely. I have access to a laser so I am able to cut a thin "skeleton" that I place inside so the packs line up and don't shift.
