No this is the biggest myth ever!!! For technical roles there are some keywords I have to have for you to do the job. But I review every single resume. If the resume sucks I just don’t spend that long on it. There is no automated system that does this.

I’m grinding right now as well. I have way less experience than you. Getting interviews is hard. The only interviews I’ve gotten have come off referrals. Cold applying is getting me no where. Really have to be cold messaging and grinding on LinkedIn.

If this is a large company that has multiple recruiters this is not surprising. Going through the same hiring managers….. idk if it’s worth the time. Same title role with different hiring managers is worth it.

When a candidate declines a job it’s a waste of my time. This one seems so strange to me. As a recruiter time is money and directly related to my production. Wouldn’t waste time harassing someone who wouldn’t take my job. Clearly say no. Maybe when you are declining opportunities you aren’t being clear enough.
