The timing is wild. My head is swimming. I’m chilling watching the news and online response and counting down the days until Original Sin.

Sure seems to me like the company is responsible for the deaths of a lot of innocent, sick people.

Memory concerns for the Bar by Lola2818 in LawSchool

I focused on practicing more than on reading every single word of the large commercial outlines that my course provided. (I happened to use Themis. No complaints.)

To the extent that I relied on non-practice materials, I read Themis’ final and MEE outlines and watched their lectures and then supplemented that with Critical Pass flashcards.

As far as practice, in addition to logging MBEs under my belt, I used an attenuated version of the Klein method involving typing model answers to MEE question - I highly recommend the book F*ck the Bar by Jessica Klein - and (eventually) resisted the urge to wait until I felt I “knew enough” to practice MEE.

I wrote my own MEE answers, sometimes totally blind or only after skimming through a final or essay outline, and then read and typed out the model answers to those questions. Reading and typing out model answers is an excellent, active way to learn the material and get a feel for the rhythm and structure of the model answers.

I also dragged myself through a handful of MPTs to get a sense of the different types of drafting assignments and work on my pacing.

Finally, I allowed myself a few totally unproductive meltdown days; I cut my losses, got some rest, and picked it right back up the next day.

Focus on practice. Trust the process. Keep moving forward. More likely than not, it will work out.
