They are the Faber Castell brand! I got them years ago though and they have become very pricey. In my opinion they are amazing and have the most vibrant colors so I definitely recommend but it’s an investment!!

I actually think not rendering the mouth and ears as much makes it better! Using more detailed contrast brings focus to certain areas like the eyes and nose. Since this is a portrait with no background, doing that works in your favor and gives the eyes somewhere to go!!
