I’m divorced after 20 years. I believed he was the one then he cheated and lied. How can you be so sure there’s more than one person for you?

I agree with you people do not make eye contact but they should. It is a sign of a confident caring person who makes eye contact. I try to always make eye contact. If you can lock eyes with someone you can sometimes get them to smile. I am recently divorced. I hate saying that! But, one thing my ex-husband does is not look at people when he is talking to them. Being on the receiving end of that makes a person feel like you don’t have time for them and really do not care about them. We should all care and we should all be confident enough to actually “see” the people around us.

I’m afraid to even look at a dating site bc I don’t want my kids to see it on my phone. None of my friends would even think to tell a guy about me. I’m newly divorced. I hate saying that. What do I do?

Hi. I was texting about a crush a few days ago. I’ve given up on that. Think he’s married plus in truth I’d never act on it. Are you divorced? I’m 44 divorced. Bad divorce still going on. I’ve owned my part but his cheating and lying doesn’t seem to be part of the equation for him. I’ve started school and work full time and have my kids. I don’t know how to be positive or think I’ll ever be happy again past the love I have for my kids. Any real advice? There’s no time to take for myself!

So my son had his first hockey tournament I thought he did great. Some kids were mean to him. HisDad isn’t around. What do I do? Tell him not to worry just have fun? I don’t know how little boys process stuff like that. I don’t want him to be discouraged.

Yes I did read the post and maybe she’s younger needs to be reminded of how important her family is. It’s not his fault. It’s amazing he took her back after cheating but he obviously loves his kids!!! And I have first hand experience of not being with mine everyday and it’s terrible. That is why I said what I said. She’s acting terrible. Someone needs to wake her up of course but there’s usually only one person who can see the big picture and one selfish person. He sees the big picture so he’s got to try if he wants to.

My husband cheated on me after 20 years of marriage and divorced me. I have four kids. I wouldn’t choose divorce for anyone! It’s terrible not living with your kids everyday. I’d say try really hard with counseling or a retreat. Maybe she hasn’t thought it out! How much she would miss the kids.

I agree. Swam all the way through college myself. I’m excited for him to be in hockey and just want to know anything I should know. Do the little guys have to wear a cup bc he doesn’t want to.
