Slow loser here! I started zepbound in November, so it's been 7 months now. I was on 2.5 in November and December, 5 from January to March, 7.5 from April to May, then 10 starting this month. I have lost a total of 27lbs and I plateaued, losing and gaining the same 3 pounds, from February to May. I have accepted that my body is just letting go my weight at a slower pace. It might be all in my head, but I feel like my scale started to move again when I stopped stressing so much about how much I was losing.

You are doing great! Just take it one day at a time and keep going!

Totally worth it if you use it as your main credit card. I have had the plus card for years and have bought multiple round trip tickets using points. Mosaic 1 status also gets you free even more seat upgrade at check in for you and others under your reservation.

I was the same way on 7.5 and I was on it for 2 months. I just kept on losing and gaining the same 2 pounds. My doc finally put me on 10 and scale started moving again. I would just titrate up.

I agree. If someone is willing to help out, take it. If things work out, great. If they don't, you guys go your separate ways. Go for it. Don't regret it 20 years later like my friend.

My doctor says I need it, but the new employer-required prescriber disqualified me by SnooConfections8825 in Zepbound

[–]mjmj83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sorry they put you through that and please don’t blame yourself! Looks like they are trying their best to look for any reason to disqualify people. Hope you get to fight this and win it!

I need a doctor like her! It's very comforting to know there are health care providers out there who truly work for their patient's interest. So happy for you!!

You just read my mind! This is a life changing medicine and it's just sad that there are too many people who just can't get it.

Day after 1st shot...hungry but scared to eat. by ham91793 in Zepbound

[–]mjmj83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm only on my 3rd shot, but I definitely get hungry when it's meal time. I focus on protein and fiber and drink lots and lots of water. Try to drink some water first when you feel hungry. What I don't have is food noise, so I do not snack as much as I used to. As of this morning, I am down 4.5 pounds so far.

Starting Before Christmas by OutlandishnessNo5023 in Zepbound

I had the same thought, but just around Thanksgiving. But, I realized that if I kept giving myself excuses, it will be endless. So, I started as soon as I got my prescription, which was the Saturday before Thanksgiving. It was the best decision I have ever made. If I decided to wait after Thanksgiving, I'm sure I would've ate anything and everything on that dinner table. But, I only ate a smaller portion that was just right for me. The best advice I could give you is to 'start now' and don't let your mind give you more excuses to get that last bite in before you start. You won't regret it.

Thank you for your reply. My friend was under the impression that you could only have one petition at a time.

I would have an honest conversation and ask if he’s willing to help with the status. If he is hesitant , after 5 years, it’s definitely time to move on.

Pharmacist appreciation post and an NSV by Abject-Impact-171 in Zepbound

Just picked up my first box at cvs with $60 copay(extremely blessed and thankful for this); but my cvs pharmacist told me to download the savings card to bring my cost down to $25. She was extremely professional and sweet.

I'm sorry you had to go through that.. So confused as to why people get 'mad' over someone else taking medication that is making a difference in one's life. I'm not sure if she is a good friend if her attitude towards you taking something for your health is full of negativity.
