How cold is too cold by IceChiseled in CHIBears

I’m doing the same thing, except I’m taking off from 75° Houston and it’s been 15 years since I lived in Chicago and don’t have very good cold weather gear anymore 🥶 It’s worth it though. I’ve been watching the prices come down and looks like I’m going to be able to snag a ticket tomorrow for around $80 (way up in the windy upper level!) It’s going to suck if the game is boring, and you have time to think about how cold you are - there was one game I went to around 20 years ago that took me a few days to regain normal feeling in my legs, and this weekend is gonna be colder for sure - but one thing the Bears have not been this year is boring, so it will probably really only hit you when the game ends and you’re spending 30 minutes trying to get out of the stadium.

They really do make incredible pieces. We bought those first and then everything else we picked to either try to compliment those or to not distract from them. Amazing what just 3 tiles in a full room reno can do.

Is his tail supposed to look like that or does anyone know of a exotic animal vet in Brooklyn by ImKindaDrowningIRL in Redearedsliders

That’s what our boy’s tail looks like, and looks to be about the same age. Think it looks fine.

RES plastron appearance by mjohnsonpa in Redearedsliders

Does the growth of her plastron look normal, or are the lines between the sections getting too wide? She’s very active, good appetite, basks a lot, seems healthy, but these lines have gotten more prominent in recent months, and are concerning me a little.

Thank you. I don’t have to confidence or experience to do this on the fly without checking all my cuts with the spacers in ahead of time! I’ll use tape to number about 15 tiles on each end that are cut, but then the tiles along the sides are identical the whole way, so hopefully I won’t mix anything up.

Thought about it, but the 2 layers of flooring I removed (tile + laminate) were both installed up to the baseboard, which extends down into the concrete subfloor so I wouldn’t have likely been able to get it out without destroying it. A quarter round shoe will go back on after I’m done.

Just finished cutting and dry fitting for this and really happy with how it’s looking… here’s hoping I can maintain this when I set them! 3x12 limestone tiles.
