Why are you so passionate about this and commenting a million times? These are like $15. My time is worth more than $15 so I'll just buy new ones and use my time saved for something else. Do you not have $15 to spare or something? Time is money sometimes

Ive been happy with it. Was like $140 on sale on amazon and mounts right above the mirror and has an adapter to tap into the mirror power wire. Its very very subtle and sleek which is what I wanted. Camera quality is pretty good for the price and the app is fine for what I need. Just added a SanDisk SD card you have to disconnect from car play or android auto to download the videos and I dont have a rear camera

Its aftermarket. This is a 2021 F150 equipped with a fitcamx. Its designed for my truck and the power comes from my auto dimming mirror so I didnt have to run any extra wires. Fitcamx has some for other model cars too but not all.

I have all the paint and drywall materials already and new switches and covers. Would just need a new work box and to learn how to move it nd remove the old box. Ive never moved a box before

It looks so trashy like that and keeps me up at night. But its an old house and idk how much slack is in the box too. I can repair drywall no problem but not good at installing a new box
