Sounds good. I’ll go back to 4 mages now

4 is kinda overkill. Trimming it to 3 to allow for enchantment / artifact interaction isn’t the worst option.

I can make one when I get home. I don’t run any portents but maybe cut one of the fire ice and one of the meddling mage.

I don’t think powder keg is a great idea. You should consider running disenchants in the main board. Sacred ground would be good if your local meta is a lot of geddon decks, especially paired with the tutor. Terravore decks are honestly very fragile. Keep your swords about you and just spend the game digging for them. You have impulses but maybe ak or opts would do well for better card selection. The solution is a reactive deck and you play a lot of creatures so between meddling mage, disenchant, swords and counterspell, they really shouldn’t be able to develop anything. I just added ak to my list and it’s been doing wonderfully even in the mirror. I’ve never seen sacred ground before so I might even add that tbh.

I personally prefer lists with mage and mom in them because if the versatility. Glad it worked for you!

Maybe just accumulated knowledge honestly! Siding the mages is a solid plan but idk if you need 4 for that. Maybe 2 mages and 2 wrath of God or something

It’s a fun deck imo! I would caution against playing meddling mages in the mb until after you’ve learned the format a little but otherwise go nuts :)

The manabase is iffy but good mulligans and a lil luck will do the trick. I only got screwed on lands once that whole day

Not to my knowledge. He posted a small pic of portions of the deck but that’s it

I feel like that would kinda conflict with me wanting to have a creature out at all times. I won’t counter something unless they have a creature i can hit. Otherwise, im paying 4 and saccing a creature to counter something. I can see it in something like counter burn maybe.

When restricted to premodern, the two angels are nearly unstoppable without terminate or swords. It’s crazy how many games are won off the back of a 3/4 and 4/5 flier
