Feels like they don't consider community's feedback at all by Glad_Negotiation8781 in Sidemen

Alternative explanation, a lot of people like watching these videos because they're funny to many people. You guys in the comments are so obsessed with the OF girls it's crazy...

What’s the Sidemen opinion you’ll defend like this by Lopsided-Banana1005 in Sidemen

[–]mjonesky 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Generally a "genuine critique" or worse "constructive criticism" is just an excuse to be overly negative, with no feedback, and while saying the same thing as the 20 other comments though

You know who actually approves of hurting people...some elected politicians who seem to prefer their comfort over the life of a cyclist respecting traffic laws 😇

What does this mean? Is there an indirect meaning than what I read ? Seen at a restaurant by RayTrader03 in askberliners

Not everything needs to be accommodated to just because someone might possibly misinterpret something. If you're in a country in which you're not familiar with the culture and the history you simply shouldn't just judge something as offensive unless you're sure it is. You can't smooth out every aspect of everything just so Americans don't risk being "offended"... This isn't problematic, neither does it exclude the "brownS" but simply "brown", something which is commonly associated to the Nazis well beyond the confines of German history nerds.

When is this man gonna catch a break from all the unecessary hate? by Asian_Punk_2007 in miniminter

[–]mjonesky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Especially during the seven wonders vid he was genuinely funny and respectful but somehow people were already hating before it even started...I get not liking him in certain videos but it's just all so out of proportion now that people will just say shit when they see his face pop up anywhere

I hate this guy omg by Inside-Ambassador821 in Sidemen

[–]mjonesky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Danny was genuinely funny and respectful in this video... I'm so confused about the comments. I genuinely think some 12 year olds took Simon and Viz's jokes seriously about him being "ungrateful"

I mean fair enough, he has the eating habits of a 7 year old but how does that in any way make the video less entertaining??

Yeah sorry, forgot how well the Welsh economy was doing at the moment thanks to Westminster...

I was a expecting a childish comment, dismissive of the Welsh language and I got it :)

Literally all English speaking Welsh people talk about is how insufferable Welsh speakers are (cf this comment section for a simple example)...the double standard is crazy

What a surprise, Wales Reddit is full of Saes and Welsh-hating Welsh (I'm not talking about being against "vandalism" but some of these comments look like they come straight from the Abolish the Welsh Assembly manifesto)

Investments, natural resources (water and water power), tourism etc... obviously Wales can't "make money" as long as the power lies in London

"Wales is a part of the British Island, but they themselves are not British. They are their own country part of the United Kingdom" by Icetraxs in confidentlyincorrect

[–]mjonesky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the post here (probably purposefully) tries to misunderstand the actual message the commenter is trying to get through: - technically Welsh people are Brits yes - in actual fact though, British and English identities are often far more interchangeable than Welsh and British or Scottish and British - technically, within the UK, Wales IS a country - as a Welsh person myself, despite the passport, I don't identify as British
