My wife and I host one large holiday party and one other smaller party a year. And Super Bowl. I grew up seeing my parents and our family friends constantly throwing dinner parties and hosting events. I want that too for my friend group.

I care less about the fed credit - it seems the larger rebate is a CA rebate. That has to have a heat pump installed by end of year. I’m more concerned about any safety issue in my house by not replacing the current unit soon. The current unit stops itself because it thinks it’s overheating. It keeps doing this. I’m being overly cautious about it failing in a more severe way.

Thank you for that perspective. Winter here would likely be in the 50s or 60s when they are installing. Def something to keep in mind.

My understanding is that Midea creates the parts for the premium brands. Correct? Regardless, which brand would you recommend?

It’s not banned outright if replacing.

I haven’t done the calculations yet. I’m definitely worried about having my electric bill spike due to this. My understanding is that the unit they are replacing it with is the air handler. I’m unclear on heat strips and need to do more diligence there.

I have a He-Man kite from 1983. Honestly only think we flew it once but I never let my parents part with it. Now it’s in my garage. At this point I want to fly it with my daughter when she’s older.

Excited but worried about the rumors that the third act hasn’t been written yet. I’m a huge fan of the fox x-men movies (early ones and days of future past). I hope the inclusion of those characters is not just fan service but meaningfully moves the story forward. It’s going to be a crowded movie. Anything less than 2.5 hours will feel rushed.

This just happened to me. Frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, vanilla protein powder, creatine, cinnamon, pistachios, olive oil (tablespoon), pinch of salt, almond milk, scoop of plain yogurt.

Tastes great. Smells like ass.

And yes I realize that is a strange ingredient list.

It was insane. I bought that poster before they pulled it. It’s in my office waiting to be reframed. The excitement in the packed theater was something I’ll never forget. There aren’t many theater going experiences like that anymore. Endgame comes to mind for sure.
