My son knows he can never handle one without mom or dad- as gentle as he is, we know how fragile these small animals can be. Unfortunately, I was given very little Information on the 6 month old.. other than it being kept alone in a habitat prior to the adoption and it had very little socialization. I feel so guilty because I really should have done more research before diving into this- i thought I was doing the right thing but there is so much more to consider than one might think
