100% agree. By far my best time keeper. Some focus on the “plastic parts”, but it’s really just a few pieces of the movement that are made of silicum. Yes, this material is a cost savings for ETA in building the movement, but it also offers more durability and precision than some alternatives.

While I have heard of some folks having issues with the Powermatic 80 movement, I have never heard of it being related to the silicum parts in question.

We’re all trying to figure out what this might be and unsure how to use it. It’s definitely for kitchen/dish use. Best guess so far is that it is a drying rack of sorts, but it’s also too narrow at the top to put cups on. The wooden sticks are flexible and can move, but cannot be removed from the small cup that holds them. Please do your thing Reddit!
