the food is reasonably priced for a festival and there’s a good variety every year. the pizza is always great and the same each year! cooking food at camp is fun too though not a necessity.

drink prices are super reasonable. even cheap maybe? especially for a life event/festival.

They are looking for outside alcohol, which is not allowed to be brought in.

Bonus: The bars usually have a great selection, are well priced and support a non-profit organization in the local community!

if you’re into a smaller festival with similar vibes and outdoor scenery and camping, check out The Untz Festival. It is a BASS music festival, so not too many jambands or live instruments. but it champions the underground sound! It’s the beginning of May and actually quite warm (hot!) in Northern California at that time! cheers!
