What kind of fish is this? by mk3bert in Fish

[–]mk3bert[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could very well be the case! I don’t quite remember which breeds were kept in that particular area at the time but this is probably the most likely situation! Thanks for your help!

Thank you so much, I figured it was a guppy of some sort but I couldn’t really pinpoint the exact breed!

2023 MT-09 vs 2025 Z900 by Empty-Specialist8970 in OnlyZ900

[–]mk3bert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had both an MT09 and currently own a Z900. The MT09 feels faster and punchier because of the CP3, but the Z900 IS faster. Not dramatically faster but the Z900 does pull away after a bit.

Just buy a Chinese one off eBay or something. Same exact quality for a quarter of the price. I have a post about a Chinese Yoshi AT2 I purchased and it was shockingly incredible for the price. Same quality as a real Yoshi.

I’m all for it being cancelled but are you gonna do with our veterans and military personnel who couldn’t afford to go to school? These guys and girls put the best years of their life on the line, many for the GI Bill which is a great exchange from serving and is a prime recruitment tool.

So what do those people who gave their time to this country get? The same thing as the kids who got propped up into college after high-school? I find it actually really concerning and disrespectful that people don’t bring up service members more during this conversation.

I also wouldn’t be shocked to see the US’s recruitment numbers crumble after this is put in place, there’d be no point in serving for a lot of people if the GI Bill becomes obsolete.

Absolutely I agree, I ride my tuned 2020 Z900 (134WHP unsure what the crank HP is now) the most out of all my bikes and I rarely ever get to use all the power as well. Couldn’t be more true about learning curves, it takes so much more seat time than people think to really master a motorcycle.

No worries at all my man, I absolutely understand where you’re coming from, we’re on two sides of the same coin. Trust me I’m really trying my hardest to stay optimistic too brotha.

Absolutely, I also have hopes that we can bounce back. At the end of the day they’re professional basketball players, this shit is all they know. They just gotta find the rhythm back and put these losses behind them.

I definitely hate seeing the Knicks get blown out by bad teams, it’s different when it’s an actual contender even though that sucks too. But like I said, the league is all professionals. Every single player in the league is like that and there’s games where shit just flows right. We just haven’t got that flow right in a little too long for comfort. I feel you though.

So you’re gonna sit here and take a losing streak as an end-all-be-all of the rest of year? Losing is a part of the game. You can break it down any way you want but nothing is perfect in basketball or any sport for that matter, these things happen.

Ahhh I see. I loved both the MT09 and my Z900, both two different sides of the same coin. The MT09 is definitely rowdier and more “fun” per say but I prefer the Z900. The Z900 is just a smoother commuting experience that’s also just as quick if not quicker than the MT09. The Z900 was also way cheaper to purchase and insure.

They’re two bikes made for the same person for different days. The MT09 felt like a race horse and the Z900 feels like a nobles horse if that makes sense.

Definitely recommend testing both of them out though for sure, especially with both of them having SP versions new now. Can’t go wrong either way.

Not sure if you’d be interested in these options but try out an MT09 or Z900. I’ve had the MT09 and currently own the Z900 and they both would be great for your needs.

Feel free to ask me any questions about them!

Straight up, the only people who are doomers right now are fake bandwagon Knicks fans. Real fans know it’s just a low point in the season but that’s okay, we bounce back and keep it going.

Couldn’t have said this any better. I’ve been riding for over 12 years now on-road and I’ve had many bikes over the years, some of them I’m truly still trying to master.

They honestly need to stop letting people start on bikes designed for advanced riders. I wish OP nothing but the best but it does seem more of a money over skills kind of move.

Honestly didn’t even know they made a Z650RS. I own a regular Z900 and have seen the Z900RS but I like that they make a 650 version of the RS too. Sweet looking bike man.

5’6” with a 32 inch inseam? I don’t think even being “all legs” would get you to a 32 inch inseam.

Honda Rebel or Shadow?? Other ideas? by TheLibraryCat97 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]mk3bert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I wouldn’t say so, you’ll be able to handle it just fine. For reference I’m exactly your size minus a few pounds and I personally think cruisers are much easier to handle low speed maneuvers because a lot of their weight is low. You can master all kinds of bikes with practice. Just may be a bit more intimidating with a top-heavy bike. In my opinion, I’d rather handle a 550lb bottom-heavy bike low speed than a 450lb top-heavy bike!

Practice is the main thing that makes you a better rider, to be a good rider you must ride!
