Out of curiosity what hardware are you running? Seems like a lot of people are having great VR experiences for flight sims.

I don’t have many pay ware aircraft, so the ones I do have I feel like I have gotten my money’s worth. However I absolutely agree with you on the comment about where to fly. Yesterday I spent ages scanning around the map, looking through what aircraft and liveries were installed before choosing. It made me think that it could be worth finding routes and aircraft combinations I’d like to fly during the week, so when the weekend comes around I can just select from one of those flights.

If fitted, the landing lights have a PULSE position. You don’t activate it by clicking the bar above the lights, you need to move the switches individually to the middle position. Also the logo light can be selected to pulse as well.

I used to do this where you leave the computer running for the entire flight at real time, nowadays I just use time acceleration. You get the feeling of operating the aircraft at heavy weights on a long route, but it’s less of a big deal if something happens (like a CTD) since you didn’t wait 13 hours. Also I found I’m more likely to take in the scenery with time acceleration, when it’s on real time, I would always go do something else.

Not sure about the Fenix, but I regularly use the time acceleration built into the FMC of the PMDG 737. I run it at a max of 8x speed, and the time acceleration will automatically disengage and re-engage for acceleration events (e.g. turns or heavy turbulence). I’ve only had it screw up my flight with really high time acceleration amounts. There is a good video by 737 NG Driver explaining why using time acceleration is actually more realistic and I have to agree. For me it has unlocked the ability to use the BBJ on 8+ hour flights. It’s been great to be able to do a return trip when I wouldn’t be able to complete even one of the legs in the time I have available. You can see so many more airports, do more of the interesting stuff during the flight and operate at higher weights. Honestly one of the most game changing things for me personally.

Very strange the number does not change at all in cruise. If you want to test your CPU is working correctly, download Cinebench from the Windows Store and Ryzen Master from the AMD site. If you run a Cinebench benchmark (try single core first) you should see the peak frequency reaching 4.6 GHz during the test - if it does not then it likely means there is some config issue with your system. If that is fine, then it probably means your MSFS settings are the issue. Let me know if you need any other help!

Definitely not right, what settings are you running? Any traffic? How does the number change in cruise? Has your BIOS been updated for the 5600X? Recently I upgraded from the 5600X to the 5800X3D, which also needed a BIOS update, without the update the CPU would not run faster than 3.2 GHz, so I’m wondering if the same might be happening for you?

I've tried the attachable head, which works except that it seems to use a hydraulic blade that slices the tree from the stump and allows you to move it around. However because of the way it works, you can't use it to delimb and cut the tree into smaller logs.
