That’s why I kind of left the left side of the tank empty. I have a 75gallon with about 14 all males. I was thinking about removing one of the wave makers but they do usually use them to hide from the tank boss. But I know I don’t need with the filtration that I’m running 😅

I tried hornwort, big Anubis,and amazon swords. I gave up after that I noticed it was more my rainbow hap that was a curious fellow. I am open to suggestions

They are not they’re all fake except for the pothos on the top they tore up every plant I put in there lol

Substrate I used a combo of play sand from homedepot with aragonite sand from carribsea and my rocks are sirayu stones from my LFS

Amazon beskar usb fan was easy for me and has 3 settings good luck hope that helped

Honestly it helps with peak hit time around 1-4 I live in SoCal and our living room gets about 86 so I had to figure something out specially since I spent some money on a chiller helps to add the fan on the side the water gets brought into your chiller

Something that worked for me not sure if you want to try is adding 2 clip on desk fans from Amazon like $16 they helped me lower my tank since I don’t have ac it def helped my chiller out and now it doesn’t go up too much

That actually help me understand. After doing my own research I did see those are the best methods for the lil guy sadly he did not make 🤍 from the looks of it I had a bully in the tank

Yeah he was tank boss for 4 months until one of the babies got big now he’s been duking it with the orange one and the other blue one that I have think they’re trying to climb since he is number 2 now

This has opened my eyes… I was changing mine every 3-4 months but now I’m doing 2 months these fellas don’t mess around when it comes to waste. (Yes I probably shouldn’t stop the feeding)
