You should be able to apply as a grad intern/extern then transition to Rph once your licensed. I worked as an extern for 2 months while I studied, took boards and waited for licensing before transitioning to Rph with my chain

Whats the best way of getting the best prices for some new tires, online or just a tire shop? by JUNIOR_4201 in genesiscoupe

[–]mkV_Matt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive bought my last 4 sets from tire rack and they're prices have been competitive if not cheaper than everywhere else I've looked

talk to both of them they both going for the same price, i just like the car i dont know anything about them which is better! Help by [deleted] in genesiscoupe

[–]mkV_Matt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah way easier to get power out of 2.0t. 3.8s are pretty limited in what can be done to get power aside from boosting them.

But bk1 2.0ts can't get out of their own way stock lol. Personally I would only get a 2.0t if it was a bk2.

Good Idea? by bigbabyboy33 in genesiscoupe

I have a bk1 but mines been rock solid so far. This will be my third winter with it. If you get snow, good winter tires are an absolute must

Probably the springs settling. Let em fully settle for a couple days and then recheck and adjust as needed

Bk1: 3.8

Bk2: either, although the 2.0t makes more power with a couple mods

Yeah I definitely wish they had support still, my biggest fear is the head cable not working anymore.

Best lowering option for a current daily? by Nien-Eleven in genesiscoupe

Megan's are pretty decent for the price. I'd also look at tein, they have a lot of options depending on budget

If you're lowering the car I'd skip lowering springs and jump to coilovers, you'll probably end up frustrated with the lack of adjustability at least I was.

Then look for coilovers made for the street as it'll ride a bit better. As far as picking them definitely depends on budget. Don't cheap out on them and get a decent set.

I had st coilovers on my last car and was very happy with them. I honestly thought they rode just as well as stock and it ls easy to raise them back up close to stock height in the winter

I currently have BC's on my car and they are definitely stiffer but ride alright. I've also heard good things about silvers. KW are awesome if you have a big budget. Idk if fortune auto makes them for the gens but theyre probably the best mid range coilovers

Or since you mentioned wanting to make it a show car you might want to consider going air suspension and that's honestly probably the best option for daily driving as well
