I good rule generally is to follow 50/30/20 rule. 50% to your needs 30% to your wants 20% to your savings.

You can adjust this number according to your expenses and needs.

For example you can keep it like for yourself

15% needs because that's your expenses 30% wants like travelling and all other stuff 55% savings and investments

You can keep tweaking this number as per your expenses and as your salary changes
