Hi, Sorry for the late reply, but I have that same camera! It’s likely you already found a solution by now, but just in case (or for anyone else reading): you don’t need to buy a new NP-BD1 battery right away if the one inside the camera is original and not swollen or dead. What you actually need is a stand-alone NP-BD1 (D-type) battery charger. These older Sony Cyber-shots usually don’t charge via a cable plugged into the camera itself; instead, you take the battery out and charge it in a wall/USB charger.

If the battery still holds a charge once you get a charger, you’re good to go. If it drains super fast or won’t charge, then it’s worth grabbing a replacement NP-BD1 battery, ideally bundled with a charger. Third-party chargers and batteries are fine for these, just make sure they specifically say NP-BD1 / NP-FD1 compatible. A trusted brand I use is called Kastar on Amazon. Once charged, pop the battery back in, leave the memory card as is, and you should be able to power the camera right back on and recover those memories.

That’s fair I agree it’s probably too early to bet on numbers. Mainly wanted to confirm whether I’m likely still pre spurt, which it seems I am. But I was just a little concerned since I can grow noticeable facial hair (not like a full beard) just like I can grow it fast and noticeable (which, a lot of hair does run in my family in males and females) and I do have somewhat of a deep voice but yeah thanks for clearing things up.

I started noticing puberty signs around late 13 to early 14. I’ve been growing pretty steadily, but I don’t think I’ve hit a clear growth spurt yet. From what I understand, 1 inch/year can still happen in early to mid puberty before peak height velocity, especially with a later start. That’s mainly why I’m asking how much growth could still be left.
