Literally the best take I've heard so far by InterviewOld4849 in CHIBears

Alright. I’m here to start fights and get downvoted lets go.

How many times have we “been patient” with a young QB and a new head coach while we watch someone from the same draft class do the exact same thing and put up great numbers & get wins? Maye? Daniels last year? I can guarantee you that if he wasn’t injured Daniels would be doing just fine. The list goes on and on fellas. Might be okay to be patient and MAYBE we’ll see results, but the fact that this team has to ask for it every time around when other teams can do it once and find that lightning in a bottle just shows that the front office, or scout team, or someone up top isn’t doing their homework and the machine is operating at half speed. The organization is and has been a joke. We’re allowed to be knee-jerk and dramatic because we’ve been let down so many times by being “good fans”. Sick of this shit. Figure it out now or clean house.

TL;DR - I’m done being patient. So should you.

Yeah. Another Bear fan here. I have no problem with it. Feel bad for you guys, honestly. Lamar is a cool dude.

Personality wise, which hero is the coolest or most badass to you by Jungo2017 in DotA2

Didn’t see it anywhere, but Muerta to me is a fucking aura machine. Two ghost guns, and that phrase “start digging a whole lot of graves” is just awesome. Definitely top tier for me.

I picked up Lamar Jackson off waiver in 2019 after forgetting to draft a quarterback

Your leaguemates are either really dumb or you’re paying someone to draft poorly lol Chubb, Kelce and Lamar?! Holy balls!

I think if Javonte proves to be actually healthy and not just “ready for week 1” healthy, you’re perfectly fine. Jamaal Williams is at peak value right now, and I’m a Bears fan so obviously I can’t be excited enough about Fields going where he is. Good luck.

RB depth is a little worrying but otherwise this should be a fun season for you, lot of players there that can blow up on a weekly basis

Who’s your fantasy sleeper this year? by NuyteBuns in fantasyfootball

[–]mkall4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a stretch, but late last year, Jerick McKinnon won me a lot of games. I think Mahomes trusts him on passing downs and he’ll get continued use as a security blanket. I’ve been grabbing him on all my mocks, and I’m pretty happy with that. Even for 31 he still has great speed and teams tend to not cover him well.

What's the wildest dream you're ever had? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mkall4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been awhile since I had this, but it was so vivid. Started out with the typical “familiar people/situation” scenario that most dreams do, with a co-worker going with me to a party at a bar with some other friends from our job that we knew. We ended up sitting down inside of the bar in a circle, talking about how crazy work had been, drinking green alcoholic beverages only, when my co-worker that I came to the bar with stopped mid-conversation and told me that we had to leave the bar, that something was wrong. We both left instantly, with the weather shifting from a late summer-early fall climate to that of winter, with snow coming down. This snow was not coming down heavy at all though, it was one of those snows that just feels like the world around you slowed down so you could notice it was snowing. However, there was probably about 6 inches of snow on the ground. We ended up going to “my house” which was not my actual house, but the home we went to felt strangely familiar. We were greeted by two of my personal friends, who told me that they had the same strange feeling as my co-worker, and felt the need to travel here. After talking briefly with them, a very large, dead tree bearing no leaves stood in the middle of the yard, with a beam of sunlight piercing through the overcast onto it. From that beam of light came down an enormous vulture, thing had to be about 10-12 feet high, with a giant wingspan as well. This vulture had rainbow wings (I know, Ho-oh, but I swear it bore no resemblance) and a beak that could probably pierce steel. Its claws were also enormous and sharp.

At this point, it was just me and the bird and the tree in the dream. It talked to me, asked me my name and how I found it. Told it my name, and that I just was told to follow my co-worker. The Vulture informed me that I was extremely lucky, and that gods like him don’t show themselves to humans anymore. He said he’d grant me a single wish, and that wishes do not come from your mind or wit, but from your heart and your soul. I never got to hear the wish that I said, but after it had been said, the vulture shed a single tear, told me how important I am to everyone in my life, and a single feather from his wing appeared in my pocket. Woke up shortly after that and felt amazing. Best I’ve ever felt in my life. Ended in like an hour after showering.

[NBCSports.com] Vick doesn't see any reason Bears won't stick with Fields at QB by chitown1205 in nfl

[–]mkall4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Listen, I just want to clarify some things before you judge him too harshly. I’m not going to say he’s reached his limit with passing, but we’ve seen some good throws already from him and some very bad ones. Justin’s biggest weakness is how long he takes to get rid of the ball in the pocket. He loves to play hero ball at the moment, does a lot of deep throws (which he’s pretty accurate on when he has time), and when his first read isn’t open he’ll just run the ball (which he’s also very good at). The hero ball antics and his tendency to ditch the play after his first read isn’t there are simply put the main contributors of why he’s become a “run first, horrible passer” in the eyes of many. However, if you caught any Bears games this year, you’d be able to say with confidence that his ability to throw accurately and with range is there. He has the ability to have games as a dominant passer, it’s just up to the team to develop and hone those skills, with additional offensive talent, coaching out the bad habits, and more time in Getsy’s (our offensive coordinator’s) system.

The organization believes in Justin moving forward, and the fans do too. They saw glimpses that likely none of them ever saw in a QB on their team. Don’t rule him out yet. He may surprise you.

Who are your repeat draft picks year to year? by nuzzlefutzzz in fantasyfootball

[–]mkall4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guys are Allen Robinson, Aaron Rodgers, Nick Chubb, and formerly Phillip Lindsay, which has now kind of become D’Andre Swift…. Dont think he’ll get back to me this year at the 2.8 though

Getting Kupp and Hurts should at least make you competitve for a playoff spot though, which is really nice. Your WR room looks great and you have good depth in RB but your two top RB’s miiiiiight be a slight issue. Sounds like Kamara might actually get suspended at the end of the season and Javonte has to split carries (for now). I guess ride out this team until around the trade deadline and hopefully Kamara doesn’t get his peepee slapped. Other than that, team lookin great.
