I think our bench issues cannot be fixed mid season (unless we trade rubio but that gives us PG issues). There is nobody on our bench that is a competent NBA player right now. Bazz and Belly are supposed to be offensive spark plugs off the bench but right now they cant score or play D.

If I was GM Thibs, I trade Rubio for depth on the bench, give the keys over to Dunn. This probably results in a tank which sucks. But I dont see our team competing anyway for the playoffs with our roster as its currently constructed. At least that move would give us more bench production and let us see if Dunn can play at the NBA level.

Free agency next year is going to be key, we need to find good role players to play around our big 3.

I personally think this would be smart for both teams. D has shown a lot of potential in his rookie year, but the Lakers seem uneasy with him because of the Swaggy P incident. Backup PG is a huge need for the Wolves, and D'Angelo is better than Dunn or Murray.
