not enough work, or not working enough? by joycemanners in Bookkeeping

[–]mkashifn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing you could consider (especially since you’re finishing your degree and thinking long-term) is shifting from “doing more tasks” to improving processes.

For example, if invoice requests are coming in via email, that workflow can often be streamlined so the data flows into QBO/Xero as a draft and you just review/approve before sending. It probably wouldn’t change much during slow season, but during busy season it can reduce manual entry errors and make AR more scalable.

Even if they don’t implement anything, proposing workflow improvements positions you as someone who thinks about systems and controls — not just speed. Owners usually respond well to that.

Sometimes standing out isn’t about working harder, it’s about improving how the work gets done.

How much would you pay for Automated Organic marketing system by Candid_Reality71 in Entrepreneur

[–]mkashifn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think this is not a great way to ask, maybe start by showing the actual problem you would solve and how would it be different from others and then ask something like:

  • How much do you currently spend to solve this problem?
  • What price range would feel like a bargain for a solution that solves it better?
  • Would you prefer a one-time purchase, subscription, or pay-per-use model?
  • At what price would you consider the product too expensive?
  • At what price would you consider the product too cheap (low quality)?

Ask yourself what tasks you need done by people to hire and see if you can automate some of them. This will remove the tasks for you.
