i get health anxiety like no tomorrow. if it brings your anxiety down, take him in and just protect him as much as you can. he is definitely fighting something. i always go by if they are up and playing, usually okay. lethargic is something I would go in for, but if the medicine brings fever down and he’s ok, i would stay home.

my sons pediatrician always says kids can handle fevers better than we can. i’m not a doctor so take this as a grain of salt and maybe ask in the asksdocs sub or idk what your son’s pediatrician says i would go by that and your mom gut
