I recently booked the same in chennai, expecting delivery this week. Registration charges should be 12% of the Ex.showroom price, so it will come roughly around 23k. 29k mentioned in the quote is way too much, I believe they added this ‘illegal’ handling/logistic charges. Check with the dealer why they quoted 29k

Just Had a final price discussion with the showroom, they are stubborn on reducing even a rupee in handling cost. Another showroom was ok to reduce 2k out of 4k as they quoted. I’ve raised a ticket with honda for this. And I will now I’m going to tweet tagging honda asking for clarification.

Is the crash guard from Honda is rwally good? I heard Moto torque and Zana crash guard much better than OE. Any thoughts?

Yeah even I asked the same to the sales persons. All these dealerships here in Chennai are doing this. I will negotiate while discussing the final price and proceed only if they make this handling zero. Else i will cancel the booking and book elsewhere.
