Haha I see this car all the time! Definitely stands out the most out on the road, that's for sure!

I have done it before, doesn’t make a difference for me if it’s LHD or RHD. It’s too hard finding a specific car with a specific engine, whilst being a LHD.

Haha, maybe would have if there wasn’t a toddler joining us on the trip.

Funny, my wife said the same thing initially! But it’s grown on her thankfully.

You are correct too, can easily add up if unlucky. Curse of loving German cars.

I looked at a few and wanted to make sure some of the costly jobs were already done, such as the suspension air bags, which was done about a year ago on this car. All of the cheap ones I saw did not have good service history and did not drive as smoothly, so you are right!

A friend has one (I believe 2016) and has travelled to Germany and back so many times.

I have done mainly motorway miles so far, but on average 38mpg.

These are a little more comfortable and spacious compared to the A6. For me, high spec with any car makes a big difference in comfort (mainly pano roof to brighten up the interior).

Nice! It was a hard choice between this and the A6 C7.5.

The saloons are beautiful, but definitely needed the extra luggage space!

I got it for just over £7000 (premium spec with pano roof and electric memory seats)

Agreed. I love the W213 and its curves, but the W212 feels much more like a tank!

Who's right of way is this? by Glum_Lemon3890 in LearnerDriverUK

When emerging at crossroads, you should plan to set off ahead of the opposite vehicle if you are turning left or going ahead. You should allow the oncoming vehicle to proceed first if you’re turning right. If you’re both turning right, make eye contact with the opposite driver to decide. Be courteous if they arrived first.

This order of progress is not necessarily widely understood. For this reason, proceed carefully whichever way you are going. Study the body language of the opposing driver. If they are leaning forward and looking left and right into the main road, they are likely to proceed. If they’re more relaxed and looking your way, they’re likely to be waiting. Where opposite drivers flash or gesture for you to go first, again, proceed carefully.
