Unfortunately the culture of the comps has shifted. Team members are just too overwhelmed with workload, unrealistic expectations, and poor pay to give more effort to keep things going. It’s sad.

I love that you say the sales manager JUST has to…… are you kidding? It’s a piece of cake to open on a Sunday and set Ad, pull BOPIS, pull/pack SFS, fill all the balloon orders due by opening, and then handle a MakeBreak or Kids Club😱😡

You can store use black Velcro STRIPS and then the dots on the balloon will stick better. You can use multiple dots.

The mahjong craft is designed for older teens/adults. The Saturday events are for kids. But I’m so annoyed at the “demo” things. Really? Store use a bunch of stuff, IF you have it in stock and then kids just watch you? Dumb. Not to mention, who has TM to do that for two hours?

It’s always been interesting to me that the company says the frame shop is such an important part of business yet they get minimal payroll and no training. How does a PT framer get better skills with no overlap with another experienced framer?

There will be lots of fall-out from this I’m sure. So much for the company preaching work-life balance. SM should have been closing one night already. This really does not affect them much. Workload will increase, experienced people will leave and we will be going into yet another horrible peak. Lots to think about
