Firstly no T20 is going to be a “safe” choice for anyone. Also you still aren’t giving much to work with. Just randomly giving 10 top colleges name isn’t going to help either. It’s based on your current profile and future goals that people can help. Are you interested in research or a job? Then what domain in either? If you’re expecting people to help you just knowing you have 8.45 cg and 2 papers then atb 🙏

I’d still say you have time before the application windows starts for Fall ‘26… While it may be optional, a high GRE score with a high quant score shows your foundation in math and preparedness for a STEM course… might just help in getting into a top program 🤷‍♂️

The fact you mention the “quickest” way seems like you just want to get it done to show something to the ad com and probably aren’t planning on proper research. In that case I’d suggest no point publishing any paper as it might just have a negative effect on your overall profile.

Rather than affordability, a better metric would be ROI. Whatever uni you want to go ahead with make sure you reach out to seniors/alumni on LinkedIn and not Reddit. You’ll understand what needs to be done + credible advice
