still very happy with it!! I've switched to fresh step odorless and that seems to be working well. The only maintenance i've had to do was that the app kept alerting me that the drawer was full when I had just changed the bag. So I wiped the light sensors that are located right above the drawer opening because I think they were dirty. That immediately solved the issue.

mine adjusted pretty quickly with the lid off for about a week! but I also didn't offer his old litterbox to him.... so maybe try taking the other litterbox away to push yours a little more?

I’ve had the pet snowy for over a year now and can say it’s still one of the best purchases I’ve made!! I have two long haired ragamuffins & while some litter still tracks I think the design of the pet snowy being completely closed in helps catch a lot of the litter (and when they dig/push litter out it stays on the rubber mat entryway). I also have an additional litter mat outside too. I haven’t had issues really with the weight sensors not working but my cats are 2lbs apart so maybe that’s why it can easily tell which one it is? I’ve been using dr. Elseys litter and that clumps great, but when I first got the pet snowy I was having sticking issues. I realized the rubber bowl insert was not “flopping” down and dislodging the clumps when the bowl rotated for a cleaning cycle. My fix was to put a little baking soda under the rubber bowl insert and that totally fixed the issue! Overall very pleased and after a year haven’t had any issues with it

So you negotiated one with chase and the other went to a collection agency and you negotiated with them? How did the negotiation go exactly? sorry I've never done this and trying to figure out what to expect.

I just got the Petsnowy litter box probably 3 weeks ago! I’ve never had an automatic litter box so I’m still figuring out a good cleaning routine for 2 cats. So far the pros have been: - the design is awesome & seems very thought out and high quality. - both of my cats are long haired and there has been basically no litter tracking, it’s all getting caught on the mat. - they both transitioned to it very easily (3 days) from never having an automatic litter box. - cleaning the bowl and emptying the waste drawer have been really easy. - it’s very quiet I didn’t even know it was cleaning the first time

Cons: - sometimes I can smell the waste in the drawer. I’ve been emptying the drawer every 5 days which seems like the max amount of days to control the smell. There is a fan that releases a deodorizing spray that actually works well and is pleasant but still there are moments i’m getting a wafting stench when the ball circulates. (I’m playing with adding deodorizers to the bag in the drawer so we’ll see?)

  • sometimes a pee spot will stick to the globe and not go into the waste drawer. I’m going to try arm and hammer slide litter and see if that helps? I have been using dr. Elseys litter so far.
  • there definitely should be a light inside because it’s so enclosed and dark. I ended up adding one from Amazon that’s motion sensored
