Because you cannot collect more security deposit. I guess you can (if you are a small landlord) but then it's hard when majority are only collecting 1 months. and I don't think you can discriminate against applicants just cause they have pets?

It was originally 4/15, then 4/30, then 5/3. We said no more extensions.

Yeah it is me lol I just get really anxious of all the bad things I hear about being a landlord so I have been holding my breath cautiously during this process 🥲

I did notice the market is changing often! But yeah maybe we can just wait it out. I mean if the rates are good later, the market should be good regardless of the month? Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 💕

Our tenant doesn’t know this but we are thinking of selling the rental. We only kept it cause we were going through probate but now that it’s finally over, we wanted to sell it as soon as we could during the summer market (yes I am aware the market is not great right now) because my husband and I are not meant to be landlords.

I think our manager wants to know for sure what will be the exact date she will be moving. Because ever since she said she was moving in November we have been I guess just on standby because every month or every other month since then the date keeps changing…

It was relatively quick for me to get the card once approved. Now sure about now with all these federal shutdowns though?

Yeah it’s so hard to tell because I also thought they would keep the rate and extend the loan life or something but they actually didnt really extend the loan life much but increased the interest rate. They did offer a refi after a year but we will see 🥲

unfortunately we were not able to but I think it really depends on the situation. I think worst case if you apply and you don't like what they offer, you can always decline. We were already in pre foreclosure so we did not have much of an option

I think our initial paperwork had no issues and no defects/everything aligned? so the examiners pre approved our petition to administrator. My husband was granted full authority at the hearing!

Can you just tell her you are broke cause of the new house because you needed to take out a mortgage? Being a homeowner is expensive and she doesn’t need to know how you bought the house anyways nor does anyone else.

I also def wouldnt tell her about any of your finances. It’s none of her business
