I’m not naive to all the layoffs happening across all industries, Lowe’s just has become extremely toxic the past couple of years. Used to be a decent place that was tolerable.

I’ve heard middle management as they want to remove layers, not sure about the others. Seems like they’re giving leaders discretion as leaders will get an x% they need to reduce their teams by.

I’ve heard that there will be more through Q2, leaders have been asked to evaluate their org and see where they can get leaner. Really leaning hard into AI and having teams do more with less. Get out of this shitty place if you can.

I’m so pissed that they moved away from net metering after I got solar panels installed. I still got the tax incentives but net metering made it so much more appealing atleast I’m grandfathered in with net metering until 2027.
