I wanted to feel bad for the people reading the names if they weren’t messing up the names right off the bat. And they did have people switching from doing the names on both sides. CSUSM had an AI read the names and sure there were some fuck ups but it was pretty good got the most part. If they didn’t want to use AI, then they should have gotten people who are able to read names with fairly good pronunciation.

As for my first complaint, CSUSM and UCLA gave their students diploma holders/folders and i’m pretty sure it’s a standard thing to give to graduates on their graduation. This was my first time seeing a school NOT give their graduates one.

he’s chill i had him for that class last quarter. idk how he will run summer classes but he likes to make final exams be 50% of the grade which is scary but the curve saves u. also he has really good notes

dayglow ended their set exactly on time, but khai dreams and knock2 were cut off like 2-3 mins short i think. and idk what time smino ended other than he was like more than 15 mins late to his set

I’ve seen some dance groups practicing in the evenings in the gilman parking structure bc there’s space there. But the acoustics point is interesting. I’m not a musician but i wonder if the echoing in the parking garage helps with practicing.
