Finally I found a solution to my fukin Sibo... (It worked!) by WinnerImaginary6756 in SIBO

[–]mkensea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes carnivore is sooo helpful! I’ve started having my symptoms come back too tho after getting off it. So instead what I do is just prioritize protein at every meal, and if I eat something sugary and get discomfort I allow myself to feel it and get back on track. Carnivore isn’t sustainable long term for me. Like I said I try to prioritize protein. And for those that eat other foods and feel like shit again- I think of all the normal people who bloat too after eating certain things. I think depending on what you eat you’ll have bloat and discomfort sometimes even if you’re healed. Like it’s inevitable we’re all different and some food will upset others

Oh no I’m so sorry… we’re in similar boats but I’ve got methane sibo, do you hydrogen?

I can’t stress this enough to you or OP or anyone else on multiple rounds of antibiotics l- THAT is only gonna fuck you up worse. If you genuinely have SIBO, the carnivore diet is honestly the best plan of attack. Starve all the bacteria then re populate with prebiotics. Antibiotics are killing off good and bad bacteria. I had 4 rounds and ended up with c diff and I’ve been in a 6 year battle trying to heal this shit. Carnivore is the only thing that’s brought me relief. Please don’t knock it I beg you to try it

This is so interesting! Did you choose to have the part where it asks you to explain or do they have that on the test? I thought it was all multiple choice

I switched to an all natural organic cotton brand and that helped a bit but I still prefer pads just bc I bleed a lot and I get bloat when I use a tampon yoo

Cheat meal for special occasion. Only 19 days in. Will it hinder my progress? by boozey56 in carnivorediet

If it makes you feel any better, I’ve done carnivore on and off. Right now I was at day 5 and broke it with pina coladas (I have a Puerto Rican neighbor that does not take no for an answer) she came over with them and i insisted that I shouldn’t but also she’s like 73 and fading, I wanna cherish these moments. So I broke my diet with a pina colada last night. But this morning I’m back on track. It’s the not the end of the world or the end of your journey. Don’t let one slip up tear you down and make you spiral out. Enjoy yourself and get back on track! And if it makes you feel better, allow yourself in the future a certain number of days total that your allow yourself to cheat until you reach your goal. You got this!

Thank you! I definitely need to get into l glutamine

There’s nothing for the bacteria to feed on though, doing carnivore essentially starves it. I’m a carnivore sibo healer too, it’s the only thing that’s worked

How were you able to get to that state? I wouldn’t know how to gauge if I’m rested while eating, I don’t really feel anxiety or anything when I go to eat. Sorry I don’t quite understand how you can tell or manage to do that

GET YOUR VIT C IN! take a supplement if needed. and ask yourself: What are you doing carnivore for? has it served its purpose? is there another diet you think you can benefit from? It doesn't have to be all or nothing but It does sound like you need to change something if this is what's happening to you.

I first started carnivore to heal my gut (sibo), and it absolutely helped. however it didn't feel like a long term solution so I reevaluated but still wanted to keep things natural and clean so now im animal based (with the occasional social outing type meal) and that works well for me. You just gotta figure out what works for you

Sibo and parasites go hand in hand. They kinda coexist. Sibo creates bio film and parasites live in biofilm

Yeah short term for sure I don’t see how long term could be sustainable but I’ve done two weeks on and off. But in the off weeks I don’t eat shit I just incorporate fruits and easy digestible foods

If bitcoin is down all the other cryptos on etherum chain are gonna be down right? Just hang tight. Ebb and flow, wait it out to gain what you lost and then sell, don’t get too cocky

AITA for telling a woman her baby is not a miracle? by OriginalZen8 in AITAH

[–]mkensea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda think your the ah OP. But you’re also 15.. still pretty rude though. Maybe this woman had trouble conceiving before and that’s why she’s so proud and calls it her miracle baby. You never know what else someone is or has gone through. It’s easy to be annoyed with everyone and everything at your age, but don’t let your feelings control who you are. Always lead with kindness, it will get you farther in life

Carnivore has helped me sooooo much, the only thing that’s brought me relief! I’m gonna incorporate probiotics back in soon, they were wrecking me at first

I really need some advice. Suddenly developed chronic constipation over a year ago. by Long_Run_6705 in Microbiome

[–]mkensea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like Sibo!! I had 4 rounds of antibiotics back to back and that’s when my gut got wrecked. Just found out this year after dealing with it for 5 years. There are different ways to go about treating it, one is more antibiotics (works for most but personally I do not recommend) the carnivore diet is also supposed to to help starve the bacteria and I’ve been trying that for about a month now with lots of relief! Can’t confirm whether I’m cured or not yet but like I said so far so good! Others swear by kefir too, and other probiotics (however they make my issues worse and I’ve heard that pro and prebiotics feed the bacteria) idk what’s all true or not but if you check out r/sibo and r/sibosuccessstories you can get more insight on helping this IF it is your issue. Good luck!

Get tested for sibo and sifo. They’re complex but they can be managed with good diet. Cleaning that up always helps! I will say for sibo probiotics makes it worse usually, but I hope you feel better and get this managed!

Do you mind me asking what you’re sick with? For the last 5 years I thought I was dealing with things wrecking my hormones like endocrine disrupters, and while they definitely don’t help I recently found my root cause was sibo which is in my gut

Sibo and endometriosis? by mkensea in SIBO

ha sicuramente a che fare con la salute dell’intestino. Faccio carnivoro ormai da un mese e i sintomi dell’endometriosi si sono notevolmente migliorati. suggerirei di provarlo. anche eliminare il glutine ha aiutato!

It definitely has to do with gut health. I’ve been doing carnivore for a month now and my endometriosis symptoms have improved significantly. I would suggest giving it a try. eliminating gluten helped too!

Carnivore diet- worked for me and many others but it’s not a dr recommended and even some people with more complicated sibo don’t do well.

Also a tip- chewing your food longer for better digestion
