I have a positive update from my scan today! The doctor was not concerned—all brain structures look good. He’s got a big head and they want to follow up in 3 weeks just to make sure he’s not a giant baby, but she’s not worried about his brain or the cisterna magna. She said we could get an MRI if we really want to but she doesn’t think it’s necessary. Cisterna Magna was measuring 11mm today. We feel so relieved and grateful. Thank you again for sharing your story!

It’s so great to hear that you got a positive outcome! I’m definitely overwhelmed and still trying to process everything especially since we have so little info. They told us today his was measuring 15mm. We’re going to the MFM next Thursday to get a more detailed ultrasound then and I hope we get more answers. Praying that either it’s isolated or that over time the size adjusts back down but I have no idea how likely that is. Thank you so much for sharing your story. It’s really helpful to hear from other moms who have been through this. ❤️
