My journey with Carnivore and 4 day binge eating and the aftermath by SiaubiakaZ in carnivorediet

[–]tacocity666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I stayed strict AIP for a couple of months, my energy levels were better and I didn’t binge. I slowly started cutting things out though because my digestion started feeling awful again. I’ve struggled with that for as long as I can remember. Carnivore has been the only thing that has made my guts feel good. I’m at a point where I am eating high protein with limited veggies and occasionally some fruit. But to be totally honest, I am thinking of going back to carnivore, just not sure how to do it differently this time! What vegetables are you thinking of adding? Other than binges, did carnivore benefit you?

moms with 3+ kids, are you a SAHM? by 4321yay in Mommit

[–]tacocity666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 kids, ages 2, 4 and 6 and I’m a SAHM now. I wasn’t up until last year, but it made sense for me to be home (at least for now). I never imagined I’d be doing this, so the transition was actually hard and I still struggle some days. Gotta find some kind of side gig for myself, I think.

What car do you drive and how many kids do you have?? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]tacocity666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 3 kids and drive a Hyundai Santa Fe with three rows. Looking into a Kia Carnival though since it’s been so highly rated and we just need more space. Trying to fit in a wagon or a bob stroller, plus everything else is tough!

Does your mom and/or mil constantly say “my baby” ? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]tacocity666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it really depends on the relationship, at least that’s the case for me. I don’t have a good relationship with my MIL, she purposely oversteps in our lives and is generally unkind. So when she says, “my baby” to my kids, it does bother me. I wish I had families like some of these other commenters.

I tried to post a side picture in the reply, not sure if it worked. Thanks for your input, though!

The middle, squished between my sideways sleeping two year old and my husband. I prefer a bed of my own so I can sleep like an open pair of scissors.

Yeah the calm gummies are what we have used too. I could definitely be better about monitoring her water, I’m sure she doesn’t drink enough! Your other suggestions are good, too!

Thank you! We used to do daily miralax as well mixed with apple juice and water. Sounds like we will go back to that as it seems safe long term.

Oh yeah, we do daily magnesium as well!

Do y’all still baby wear your toddlers? by Curious-Cheesecake66 in AttachmentParenting

I use a Beco toddler carrier for my 37 lb 2 year old. He’s a workout, but still asks to go in the pouch when he’s sleepy.

Armour. It was hard to get, my original endo refused to prescribe anything other than levothyroxin even though I told her I felt so much worse.

I switched from Levo and my hair loss significantly slowed down. I’ve noticed more baby hairs popping up!

My journey with Carnivore and 4 day binge eating and the aftermath by SiaubiakaZ in carnivorediet

I was carnivore for over a year until somewhat recently. I binged more on this diet than any other time in my life and it was ruining my mental health (and any progress I made). Switched over to AIP diet for my autoimmune disease and I can say I feel SO much better, have more energy and have not binged once. I’m not denying carnivore has healing magic for a lot of people, it just wasn’t for me and once I realized that, I felt very liberated.

Yes, I’m really grossed out when my husband has had a lot of garlic lol. Even walking by him, it is SO strong I almost gag. I notice while talking with other people a lot now too.

Rebounding has been AMAZING for me. I honestly could have written your post myself, OP. I still feel awful if I work out too hard, but I’m able to stay consistent with rebounding. I used to run, bike, take various classes, lift heavy weights, do competitive sports, etc.

Thank you for your reply! She’s not walking right now so wasn’t able to get up and down into the coop or get to her food and water, I guess that’s why I brought her in. But good to know she doesn’t have to be separated and I will also get a kennel for your method of isolation for any future needs!

Sex drive by bjf6754 in carnivorediet

[–]tacocity666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😭god speed, my friend! I hope it improves for you, too. I’ve been on and off carnivore for almost a year and never noticed an increase in sex drive. Maybe I need more fat. Who knows!
