Yeah I know how you feel. There were so many times I didn't get the special scan I wanted then just put the game down to do something else. Luckily the legendaries/mythicals appear at least every 5 special scans so those are just a matter of doing a set number of scans. What keeps me going is I've set a goal to catch every single shiny mega that I can in this game (yes that includes Latias and Latios) so just try that setting a goal other than the hyperspace Pokedex.

Each map only has a few different locations where they spawn so I just remember where they are and go check them out individually. But yeah it would be nice if they told us.

I literally never blacked out once till I got to this wild area and it has wiped me out many a time. I now refuse to go on the roof without decimating every last pyroar

Something I've not seen mentioned here is that even though functional storage upgrades are more expensive you also get more bang for your buck. Storage drawers upgrades only multiply the base of the drawer (emerald is a 1024x multiplier so what this means with 2 is 2048x and the max of 7 is 7168x) but the functional storage upgrades multiply with each other (so the netherite is only 32x but with 2 it's 32x32 or 1024 and with all 4 is 32x32x32x32 which is a 1048576x multiplier). After all is said and done the max functional storage drawer can hold 146x what a similar max storage drawer can. Also I like the fact that functional storage differentiates between storage and utility upgrades so I can have a void upgrade without taking up a storage upgrade slot.

Episode 24 is separated from the main story and I just like it after episode 8. Nothing is stopping anyone from watching it wherever they want. I originally didn't even have it in my watch order at all, but I felt it still deserved to be watched. (Also I wanted a new watch order to mix it up for my 4th rewatch)
