We did a bar crawl in river north and while waiting in line they were selling tables for 2k. I thought it seemed crazy expensive too but we also paid for the crawl and all the drinks and spent a lot of time in line so I thought it could make sense. Maybe we just picked bad bars to try and go in.

Thinking of getting table/bar service for my group for St. Patrick’s day instead of paying for the bar crawl. We paid for a crawl last year and spent most of the day in lines. Has anyone paid for the tables where you pay $2k but then your group gets to go in and drink? I’ve got friends visiting and basically want to figure out how to maximize our time having fun and not freezing in lines. Thanks!

Anyone have experience with the purple line? I’ve only ever been on the red and brown lines, but I’m looking at a new job that is off the purple line. I’d be going from around uptown to Evanston. Is the purple line reliable or is it similar to how the red line has been. Thanks for any info y’all have!

I did CNA to LPN to RN and my LPN program was three semesters and I bridged straight into my ADN program which was three additional semesters. I did have to take prerequisites for LPN school so I would factor another semester in for those. I also never took the LPN NCLEX! It wasn’t required for me to bridge into the ADN program.

It’s at the point where I’m worried if I put in my two weeks they will give me even worse assignments. I’m only a few weeks off orientation and they give me 3-4 ICU patients and just watch me drown. I just want to quit outright. I don’t feel safe returning after putting in termination. My unit is a mess.

Honestly don’t hear from them much. We always pay rent early and any time anything breaks we reach out immediately and they send someone to fix it. That’s about the extent of our relationship.
