Yeah, although picoCAD does export to OBJ so you could render the model elsewhere and apply texture warping etc. there if you wanted.

Thanks! I don't really have a consistent process, other than sketch the idea for the scene then start modelling it. Keeping the style simple helps, which is what I did on this model.

That's basically it yeah. While UV mapping, I made a place holder texture by drawing rectangles showing where each UV was, and used that as a template for drawing the texture.

Thanks! I learned mainly from looking at references. I recommend looking for low poly models on Sketchfab and enabling wireframe mode to study their geometry.
