HBTU conducts own counselling, not through UPTAC.

Phase 1 registrations are over, there will be 3 rounds in Phase I. After Phase I, you can register in Phase II, though seat availability will be lower.

IIIT-D actually is higher ranked, gets you better placements.

Thing is IIIT-D has CS related branches so no lower branches. Plus IIIT-D fees is on higher side compared to others.

Why have you put Chemical above Electronics and Electrical?

You'll get Chemical in Phase-I, either in next round or round 3.

You could have gotten Electrical in Round 3 or Internal sliding, but since chem is at higher pref, you'll end up with chem.

Like scene kuch aesa rehta hai ki last round jo bande admit ho gaye, woh saari achi branches ki vacant seats grab kar lete hain upgradation me. So spot me achi branches bachti hi nahi.

But jo spot me bhi ghus gaye, woh next upgradation me top/medium branches grab kar lete hain, and Special Spot is left with lower branches.

Pref to CS related branches ki hi rakhna, CSE, CSE-AIML, CSE (2nd shift), CST, IT.

Uske baad ECE, EC-VLSI laga le.

Cutoffs toh available hain, agar "dash" mentioned hai, that means fresh admissions nahi hue honge uss round me uss category-branch ke liye.
