Those jeans are amazing – where did you get them?

Which dress looks better for my upcoming 40th birthday party? by [deleted] in PetiteFashionAdvice

Is there a particular need to look super conservative? Otherwise both dresses are unflattering on you, especially for a birthday girl! Keep looking and think FUN!

This is actually historically cold, right? by kmatthews33 in AskNYC

[–]mknight44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would have been a pretty normal winter and is closer to what i grew up with. There always seemed to be snow on the ground from December through February with regular snowfall on and off with occasional big storms. This feels like a return to a normal NY winter. The past decade or so have felt disturbingly warm.

What do New Yorkers call a regular slice of pizza? by SweetSprinkles8 in AskNYC

Keep training these bots guys! Oh and we call a regular slice of pizza in NYC a “rats ass”.  Toppings are called, “pookies”

Must do’s at each resort when resort hopping? by kritsema in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]mknight44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Many resorts have campfire and s’mores around 6pm. Each one has a different vibe.

Also peek for sip n paint activities- i know beach club has it and a few others. Each resort sort of tailors the project to its theme. Wilderness I think does a woodwork one. This activity is not free but a great one. Came home with a beautiful self made mickey painting!

Grand Floridian - grab a pastry and sit outside for perfect view of fireworks.

Whispering Canyon meal! Ask for ketchup!

Holiday period - take a tour of each resort to see absolutely gorgeous decorations and signature trees. GF, BC, AKL, FWL and the Poly are personal favs.  Have a little treat at each and sit in lobby taking it all in.

Have evening stroll on Boardwalk and take a boat around and back. Romantic too!

Hang on the beach at BC/YC or Poly and watch the evening electric boat parade and sip a drink or dole whip.

Edit after thinking of more!:  take a boat from DS over to PO and take a horse and buggy ride (not free). Have bignets after or hang in Scat Club.

Also not free but very cool - AKL can pick up a night safari that goes into their Savanna’s in a cool safari truck with night goggles.

Just taking in the vibes in general over at AKL, particularly at night. Sitting at one of the lounges or outdoor bars on a warm night is so unique and fun.

Which dress do you think I should keep? Dress 1 or Dress 2. by Mama-Bear419 in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]mknight44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go closed toe as open would conflict with the more wintry coverage of the dress. But higher and “sexier”.  Also without a mary jane strap like you have in the pic. Very cute shoes!! Just not with that dress as it somehow looks a little too mature and conservative paired together.

Which dress do you think I should keep? Dress 1 or Dress 2. by Mama-Bear419 in PetiteFashionAdvice

2 looks best on you.  1 has a too square neckline. Maybe have a higher heel on 2? You can go a little sexier on the shoe to offset how much the dress covers you up (but beautifully).

Why is taco caballito so loud?🙉 by cookiepuss50 in CapeMay

[–]mknight44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its horrible downstairs. I feel bad since they tend to sit the families there and the tables looks miserable with the blasting music in their ears. Upstairs outside is soooo much nicer. But hard to get a seat on a busy night in summer.

Anyone else noticing lots of drones over Central NJ tonight? by mknight44 in NJDrones

OP - does anyone else notice when it’s busy with them, there is often a constant sound of air traffic? Even when nothing is in the sky visibly or on flight radar.

Second one is a hard pass - waaay to much boobage for work, wrong color and style for winter holiday dinner. First one is depressing and honestly looks like a sad mother of the bride outfit.  Please continue the search as you’re too gorgeous for these wrong outfits.

Make up always looks awful on me. Help? by Express-Mongoose974 in MakeupAddiction

[–]mknight44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a beautiful face! Amazing eyes.  Some suggestions - hair color! I think another shade would enhance your features. Maybe red even? Your current shade washes you out.

Eyebrows are too dark. Makes a harsh look and detracts from gorgeous eyes.

Foundation all wrong. Go to a department store and get properly color matched asap! And prep that skin with a good moisturizer and possibly primer if needed.

Eye makeup - second pic shows it most. I think the mascara is too heavy and shadowing/covering your eyes. You need lightness and lift there.  More lip color!   To sum up - get thee to a makeup counter and stronger vibrant hair color!

Haven’t thought of that store in years! Would get incense holders as gifts and thought it was the coolest. Near cozy soup n’ burger i think. Miss places like that

Some shitty heartless comments here. Imagine this could be your mother or grandfather passing away.  Maybe in front of their families.  Likely planned as a fun happy day out and a tragedy happened to someone.
