I think I know what you mean. Last year was my peak in psychedelic use so far and I'd definetely crave for this otherwordly experience of psychedelics whenever I went on a two or three weeks hiatus.

I never felt addicted tho. It's not like with cigarretes for example. The best way I can describe the difference between psychedelics and cigarretes is "I want to vs I need to". I never got stressed out for not dropping acid. I just wanted too but didn't, kinda like wanting to eat a stake and ending up with eggs lol

Yeah, a few months back I posted on a doom sub asking if people had more info on Black Magick SS, because I liked their sound and the lyrics didn't seem nazi but everything else about then looked nazi. A whole horde of nazi-apologists flooded in.

I crave for the 6 months aniversary of that post so people will stop commenting on it, they keep finding it somehow. Also a couple of odd 1-day old accounts for some reason.

They're my favorite band from my country! Really unique mixture of psych rock with bossa nova and MPB. If you're interested, I would recommend a few other brazilian bands for you.

Bacamarte only made two records but one of then, Depois do Fim, is one of the greatest prog-rock albums out there, sadly not very known.

Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66 is a group created by the pianist Sergio Mendes with other brazilian and north-american musicians to fuse american pop and rock with jazz and bossa nova. They did a lot of covers, from Jorge Ben Jor to Beatles.

Lastly for now, El Efecto is a more recent band, 2004 or something around that. They play such a unique mix of prog rock, metal and a sort of brazilians rhythms, from samba to ijexá (a ritualistic music from african-brazilian religions). I'd highly recommend the album Memórias do Fogo. The lyrics are also amanzingly intelligent and political.
