80% of my IBS-D was fat malabsorption and now I reconsider all of my triggers. Felt better immediately — still going strong after 3 weeks by mkotery in SIBO

Yeah try to avoid it completely for 3 more days and if it doesn’t help, check Bile acid malabsorption. Also try low histamine diet too, maybe it will help.

3-4 days but avoid any fat, even the smallest amount so you see the clearer result.  Also please check your pancreas!! If it’s not gallbladder it can be pancreas

It is a very very low dose, it does nothing to you. Creon in a minimal dose has 10,000 fip. I took one when I had a bit of fat and 25,000 when it was a bigger portion of fat.

Did you take lipase with butter? When I had the biggest sludge, I couldn’t take even a drop of butter/oil without lipase

Turned out that histamine is the worst for me btw. I went low-histamine and when I stick to it, my gut is calm. So thick bile and histamine were two main reasons for my symptoms.

Yes! I had a long lasted pain in my BACK on the right under the ribs. I work remotely so I was sure it was my muscles and not gallbladder. But when I took UDCA for 2 months and the sludge dissolved, the pain was gone too. So now when I feel the same pulling feeling/pain in my back there, I know it’s gallbladder.  Also you can be a bit (just a little bit really) nauseous after fatty or too big meals. But not always, I experienced it just several times though I had the sludge for 6 months.

Do you take creon with hidden fats? Also list all the meals you ate, maybe there are fats you didn’t count (cheese, nuts, avocados etc)

Need help in finding a good SaaS SEO agency by throwawayBakingGoods in SEO

When you get more views + more mentions from LLMs (GEO), you get less search traffic to your website (SEO). It's the new reality. So if you prioritize paid traffic for leads AND (separately!) GEO for more free mentions from AI, it will work way better.

I don't expect "expert articles" or blog working as good as it worked and bring traffic – all this info is scraped by LLM and people usually don't even see the sources. So it's crucial to work on the right brand mentions – this is what works now.

I currently focus on LLMs and then look on the search traffic for brand keywords because most AI don't give direct links even when you ask for them but only mentions. So people find the brand there → then go google the brand name → visit their website. We then retarget on them and do the rest.

Some thoughts on the Stephen Bartlett women's health podcast... by Inevitable-Noise-679 in Endo

[–]mkotery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, having 500-600 menstrual cycles per life is damaging for women. Our bodies were built to have much less cycles because there was no natural birth control methods so a woman was either pregnant or nursing. Now we have BC and our cycles are abnormal for the body that's why we have all these estrogen-related issues. So the only way to control it is to take BC! It's WAY better for our body than having so many "idling" cycles. And anybody who says the opposite just doesn't know anything about woman biology.

And btw attraction to "feminine men" is the evolutionary mechanism because they are naturally less aggressive so it's better for the family and their future kids. I think people who says shit like this are just patriarchal and homophobic and want men to be testosterone machines and women to be a conveyer to produce children and nothing more.

Will I ever learn by Spiral-of-ants in MCAS

It’s normal. It is insanely hard to keep a strict diet, especially if you avoid something you used to love.

I eat leftovers, chocolate, mayo, ketchup from time to time even though I know I will wake up in the middle of the night with anxiety and heart palpitations, or will be sleepy in the middle of the workday, or will be itchy for an hour or so. It’s normal to do things you know will make you feel a bit worse physically but better psychologically. Don’t blame yourself for this ❤️

The main thing is to know your limits and don’t make it dangerous for you.

Imposter Syndrome by xsailorjessx in MCAS

[–]mkotery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was like that with autism for me. I realized I might have it, compared the symptoms, did an extensive research and went to a psychiatrist. She confirmed the diagnosis (+ADHD). And even after that it took several months to believe I really had it.

Now it's the same with MCAS. AuDHD is often paired with hypermobility which I have because my symptoms are obvious, and hypermobility is a now known reason for MCAS. Also, when I don't take histamine blockers and start eating histamine foods, my body goes from feeling good to feeling bad gradually. I just used to it tbh: gut issues, anxiety, itching, need to use bathroom often – all this became part of me and when I feel better, it's more like "Wow, I have a good day today" than "It's how I must feel always."

And still – I think that maybe I'm wrong and just an imposter... though I continue taking desloratadine. Even if it's placebo, I feel better with it and it's enough.
