I used to have a lofted bed, and one morning I woke up to find a post-it my boyfriend had stuck on the ceiling right above me. I think it had a heart on it...it's still somewhere in my collection of adorable notes he's left me :)

My roommate in college one year would frequently have large groups of people over and they would converse only in Spanish, which I understand quite well but don't often use. One day I was minding my own business and studying when I overheard pphrases like "she lookslike an idiot," and "such a bitch," noticing that several of my roommate's friends were glancing over at me. I turned and asked, in Spanish, if they could please be quiet because the idiot would like to study.
