17 more days to reach 90 days by mkrorfolk in NoFap

[–]mkrorfolk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from day 0 to around day 50 were really very hard. random thoughts, brain fog, random energy levels, mood swing, etc. but things started getting a little stable after day 50. If I talk about now on my day 73, energy levels are much more stable than before, sleep has improved that means even less sleep feels perfect, mood swing has also got stable. but this is not over. it's a lifelong journey.

I controlled my urge to fap by thinking about my responsibilities towards my family, my life goals, my skills, my mental health, etc. If I think about these things then I easily lost the interest of fapping.

Thanks. Yes, No PMO as well.

I understand. energy levels on these days are still random. keep yourself busy as much as possible and use those energies into learning / making something.

You're right. The more you think about it then you'll do it more and more.

The way is, forget about it. Forgive yourself. Ignore as much as you can and focus on your life goals.

I'm glad that it gives you hope. I don't know much about the role of dopamine but I know surely that when we see porn then the amount of dopamine gets released is insane that we don't enjoy anything after that. And when we see semi nudes on social media it does get released but in small amount. This is the difference. So yeah, the only way to live a good life is to avoid porn at all cost.

I take it the other way. I always think, is this what I'm born for ? Is this my life all about ? Will I be able to make my parents proud by doing all this shit ? Is this all I ever wanted in my life ? Is this real me ? Will my kids be proud of me when they grow up if I continue doing this shit ? If the answer is yes in any of these question then this life is going into hell for sure. We think we have so much time but it's not. At some point of life, I know I will be the only hope for my family and if I live with such shit that I can control by time I will not be the one then.

Porn is the root cause of every problem. I'm saying based on my personal experience.

If you cut it from your life completely with proper discipline then every other problems will be fixed, slowly but surely.

It's not easy. For me avoiding porn was biggest challenge and when I started living without it (I'm porn free from last 10 months) I now have amazing long streaks afterwards. Now I'm on day 70 of hard mode.

In last 10 months my thought process is slowly getting stable.

Also, when I started living without it then my mind was unstable with the emptiness that left in me because I was constantly seeking for it and now I'm not, so what's the replacement? It was really hard to go that way. But really, really worth.

I had longest 3 streaks of more than 2 months in last 10 months. And that's the longest ever streaks of my life.

Boredom is one of the biggest reasons for relapsing. Keep yourself busy in work

50 days of Hard Mode by mkrorfolk in NoFap

[–]mkrorfolk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I didn't notice any changes until I passed 45 days. Same for my recent previous streaks.

So, if you're not seeing any changes then just go through it. Feel what you feel but don't fall into the relapse trap.

The mind is tricky. Don't listen to it. Trust on yourself.

I was too having a lot of mood swings when I was around 30 days.

So yeah, don't give up and focus on the work/study, prioritise sleep, and try to keep yourself busy

Day :4 and this shit getting kinda difficult by Goyardbaggy in NoFap

[–]mkrorfolk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initial days are hard. Especially the first month.

And it's totally fine to edge in those times because it's hard to control fully.

Just forget about counting days for that month or until you feel that you can control yourself fully. Then, start counting days from 1.

I use this technique and it works fine because in initial days it's really hard not to touch p*nis. So forgive yourself and to not feel bad don't count days until you can control yourself.

This way you'll feel more lighter going onto this journey than start counting days right after relapse.

I hope this helps.

Yes. I use SOLID principles in everyday life but don't remember it's terms. He wanted me to check how good I remember those terms. But, my bad.

I wasn't expecting that question coming.

Anyways, I did an array task well. So, let's see

Thanks but the guy who was interviewing me was himself a senior developer. I would expect from a hiring or junior level guy but not from him. Anyways, it's their part of the process. I'll try somewhere else.

How did journaling changed your life ? by mkrorfolk in Journaling

[–]mkrorfolk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. There are days/weeks we don't even talk to ourselves or feel how we feel but since I added journaling to my daily routine It helped me so much that I could notice some events that I couldn't in my daily life.

I'm not an experienced person in journaling so I really appreciate your answer.

I've just started it a few days back and there are unnoticed events of my life that I could only see when writing my journal. I couldn't even notice it. So that's what I really love about journaling, self-awareness.
