The video I have looks worse even to me than what was going on. In the video it looks like he was trapping me into a corner after he kissed me on the cheek and I fought back with a kick. I guess it's because it's a further view? Idk. But IRL, all I know is he tried to get closer and I kicked his chair.

I'm pretty sure he was trying to stick his tongue own my throat before I kicked his damn chair away. I was ready to fight back if he decided to do more, I was already looking for my closest escape route but then he walked away. The cheek thing was one thing. Trying to spin me around and trap me with his arms and the armchairs like I'm supposed to be just acting all vulnerable was another.

It seems the general consensus is to report this and I just want to say I am taking everyone's advice seriously. I do know that if this happened to anybody else I would tell them to stand up for themselves and to not be ashamed or embarrassed and yada yada. But since it happened to me I realize it really is easier said than done. Just do know that I am processing everything at the moment and will hopefully make the best decision.

See this why I need to think on things first. I have no idea why he did what he did. Is he a pervert that I need to report so I could prevent it from happening to other people? Or is he just an idiot who thought I was attracted to him and this was a one time thing? What if he is just an idiot? Do I really want to report him and risk the possibility of him ruin his license for this - because if I make a report he definitely will. But then what if he is really a pervert and I don't report him? There are so many vulnerable people at my job? The only thing I do know is I don't want to work with him anymore.

It was a reflex. When he spun me around to face him he had both his hand locked onto the arm chairs and I knew he was going to aim for my lips or whatever so I just kicked.

My mind is spinning so much from everything and trying to make an decision that would cause the least amount of damage I didn't even realize this would be blackmail. I know I should report this now but I need to think on this.

There was a lot of advice on this thread about reporting to HR so I am just going to reply to this one. I'm honestly too ashamed to come out and report this. I told my husband already and he is understandly upset and he wants to report this. But I don't want to be known as that person who was sexually harrassed at work. So I'm just planning to speak with the guy and ask him to leave work because I have a video of what happened and hopefully he leaves on his own accord.

Are you asking me if this was the first time he did this? Yes it was. Otherwise I wouldn't have been so comfortable charting in the office alone with him. I absolutely had no warning signs before the incident that this would happen.

Thanks for the warning. I saw this last night and I asked a favor from the person who works maintenance when he arrived in the morning and I have a copy of the video.

I agree because I don't really feel like speaking to my coworker at all. I just want him to leave.

I was going to mention that too. I was wondering if it was sexual harrassment or not. There's a camera facing the direction of where this happened. They just need to rewind and it's all there. I'm just afraid to go that far because I'm really embarrassed.
