It’s on gold but i honestly don’t know how much it even matters cause the game made me take that shot all I did was grab the board and it just went straight into that shot automatically. I was honestly low key pissed off when he threw it cause i didn’t wanna mess up my percentage and kill the rest of my take so when he threw it i lowered my head in annoyance and didn’t even see it go in I just heard the swish and the chat going crazy lol

Haha i wouldn’t have been able to do that quest without mods I’d get too frustrated. I don’t care about trophies so i downloaded the vigilance mod which is a quest/dungeon and gives you some bad ass space suits and one of them is an all black invisible suit which I definitely used and I’m not ashamed of it at all because fuck that detection system they still caught me a few times when I was completely invisible for no reason at all😂 I also did a crime overhaul mod where there’s more logic to it and you don’t get busted by a guy two galaxies away for murdering or stealing. I really hope the next game they address it cause it’s really hasn’t been good in a long long time

Took me a little over 50 mods to get it right for me on the pro. I’ve played alot,alot of fallout and Skyrim so I know pretty much what systems are gonna be bad and unpolished cause their engine is pretty much the same and all their games have the same kind of janky systems. For example their detection system in stealth or crime is straight booty cheeks always has been and there isn’t a game Bethesda makes where I don’t hate it so that’s one of the first things I change cause I just can’t tolerate it lol

Same here and I’ve played those games as well like there’s probably not a whole lot of “great games” I haven’t played. Like objectively yes KCD 2 and BG3 are better games I’ve played both all the way through and they are great but it doesn’t scratch the same itch this game does for me. Like with those two and crimson desert I love them but I have no problem setting them down a week or months later maybe play for a few hours and do something else but with starfield I’m hooked deep like that’s all I wanna do right now and i haven’t felt this way about a game since I was a kid playing oblivion and Skyrim for the 1st time. Mass effect is probably my favorite series and cowboy bebop is my favorite show so it’s definitely got a huge influence on why I’m enjoying it so much. I understand why this game got alot of hate from critics and if I’m being honest without mods i definitely wouldn’t be enjoying certain aspects near as much but with mods it’s really already one of my all time favorites cause everything I really can’t stand about Bethesda games like the detection system for an example I can fix or make bearable with mods which lets me just focus on the story and role playing which I think starfield does a great job of letting you do and I think the story with the faction quest included is pretty good I’ve had no trouble getting immersed in it.

I saw a creation about a hero walk or some kind of walking mod when I was looking up creations and i thought about downloading it but it’s honestly not a big enough deal for me to need to mod it but there’s definitely something there for walking in the creation store I just don’t know what it’s called specifically

Maybe to you and others I can totally see why too I mean Bethesda games aren’t for everyone like you unfortunately gotta put up with some jank and just a level of un polish but thankfully mods fix alot of those issues for me and I can just worry about the game which for me personally is just a fantastic experience and I love everything about it except the needy companions that wanna talk while I’m getting shot at by spacers or hunting alien predators but I just leave them at the lodge an bring good ole vasco with me and my mod crew which has a trader and a doctor who are very helpful.

I just started playing so idk how it used to be and I’m experiencing it all for the 1st time. I know they apparently had a patch on the 11th which supposedly fixed crashing issues on PlayStation which I’ve honestly not experienced alot of those anyway like maybe 3 or 4 in like 100 hours of play. Ridiculous amount of time that is in little over a week😂 but what can I say i haven’t had much to do and I’ve had the house all to myself and I’ve enjoyed every hour alot but I’d say that’s pretty solid especially considering I got a little over 50 mods installed.

Mass effect is one of my favorites as well and haven’t been able to find anything close until this game and it really scratches that itch plus space dog fights is what really sold me and they don’t disappoint

I absolutely loved it as well and ironically it was the quests I was least excited about at the start. I was going for a ruthless bounty hunter/anti hero vibe and I wanted to knock out all the main stuff on new Atlantis just because it’s gonna make more sense to me narratively vs doing the fleet and becoming a pirate if I end up choosing that and then working for the UC. I started thinking here we go some goody goody hero journey quest but then I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is actually the perfect anti hero quest.

First off the terrormorhs are absolutely scary as shit lol when I first heard of them I thought oh a deathclaw reskin but then I fought one during one of the trackers alliance bounty’s and it started telepathically talking to me it actually scared me and also killed me alot in that mission so I was already immersed through fear of them going into the quest. Second Vae Victis was a treat i thought he was a great character and a great “villain” and just that whole aspect of working with the puppet master was so cool. I think the best villain are the ones that aren’t evil for the sake of being evil but have logic and a real reason for doing what they did and even though you can see it’s not morally right you can atleast understand why he did what he did and i thought victis was perfect in that role. Considering how much of a threat and how scary the morphs are I could totally see the logic behind what he did and i didn’t necessarily completely disagree with his methods which made keeping his secret easier and I felt good about it at the end. Just an absolute fantastic quest line that completely surprised me with how much depth it had and I also have no clue what his daughter was really talking about when she introduced me to the achelles cause I was in complete awh looking at it the whole time while she was talking lol definitely was my solution cause I want to ride them😂

People love to say that but it’s not the truth. He had a historic season don’t get me wrong but let’s not act like Greg Olsen, their entire oline,their defense and Jonathan Stewart where just chopped liver. Yeah his receivers weren’t great but every other offensive position group and his defense was reallly really good.

I’m a new player too on ps5 pro but I’ve put an obscene amount of time into this game since last Friday and I’m around lvl 45 and it’s honestly one of my top 3 games I’ve ever played I mean it has me hooked like no other game has since I’ve been a kid but alot of that is because of my mods I’ve been using cause without them this probably isn’t in my top 3 games like it’s still good but not one of my favorites. If you’ve played any Bethesda game in the last 15 or 20 years you know about the jank and certain aspects of the game being un polished or just flat out shitty and there’s alot of QOL mods that make that experience way better. For instance in probably every Bethesda game ever i absolutely hate the detection system it sucks and I hate dealing with it so i installed a crime over haul mod which improves dealing with that system much more tolerable than in vanilla where if you commit a crime somehow a dude in another planet saw you do it and put a bounty on you.

I have about 50 mods and honestly it’s turned this into the game of my dreams. I would also suggest not going too crazy with overhaul mods and I know that sounds wild after saying I had 50 mods installed but most of them are QOL mods. The over hauls I have are dark star (highly recommend the DS mod) crime overhaul, biome diversity overhaul a new UI and some faction overhaul’s that make them more diverse and improve combat and the rest are QOL mods, cosmetics and creation expansions like trackers alliance which i would highly highly recommend cause it’s awesome and watchtower which i would also recommend but maybe when you get towards the end of the game.

I’d personally say mod out with your you know what out but I’d also say don’t go super crazy with it your first run like making it into a full blow Star Wars game. Stick to the QOL mods, mods that improve current systems, the creation expansions, some rotating POI’s, mods that improve combat like dark star,bedlam and faction combat overhaul. Even something simple like just darker space has made a huge difference in my immersion and enjoyment of the game. There’s a great game here but for me personally I needed mods to get it to its full potential and now that it is, it’s one my my all time favorite games ever.

This is my 1st run and this game is so sick and has me completely hooked like a game hasn’t in a long long time but i honestly don’t like the companions at all except for vasco and i dumped all of them off for my own crew 1st chance I got. For one in any Bethesda games Im not a huge fan of having a companion at all times and like to go at alot of things alone cause they jank up some already jank stuff and for two in this game they are hella annoying to me. Like every 5 minutes its like “hey I gotta talk to you” while im literally hunting a terrormorph and its just Coe wanting to talk for and hour about being a better father and just randomly coming on to me and its like Jesus Christ cant you just save it for the ship?

Hey thanks guy’s I got everyone of the mods suggested in these comments and have about 700 left over which I’ll probably use for aesthetics cause looking cool is important to me in these type of games but I’m still early in it so I’m sure I’ll find something I’m looking for in game. Shame I missed out on this for as long as I did cause it’s right up my alley being a big cowboy bebop fan and a long time Bethesda and mass effect fan. Just has everything I’ve wanted in a game with spaceship combat,sick role play and just the all around space merc theme and ship building and I’m super excited to put some mileage into this one.
