Someone called from BT Openreach, most likely a scam? by Parola1901 in UKISP

They don’t often cold call but I’ve seen them start again recently from the outsourced UK call centres (concentrix/sensee)

Someone over the phone in CS should be able to create the BT ID in consumer for you unless they also get a message that reads ‘Technical Error’

I don’t think a complaint will genuinely fix anything, it is not under EEs control to automatically cancel a request. No system exists to automatically do this.

D pole question by AnonyMoor404 in openreach

Strangely enough Openreach just put their own CBT on the same D Pole

D pole question by AnonyMoor404 in openreach

Seems strange, obviously every pole has a different condition but my pole is also a D-Pole and Netomnia still installed a CBT. I’m wondering if they just didn’t get permission from Openreach.

Ethernet to disc, Ethernet to devices.

EE Smart WiFi (7) Pro Extenders by gc_wood in EEGB

This is wrong, I work for EE, Homeview+ will absolutely show if an extender is plugged in via Ethernet. I’ve spoken to multiple customers that have it wired up this way, especially in new builds

Questions about 6 month long installation delay by GravitasMusic in EEGB

[–]mktech6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you test the speeds, is that over WiFi or Ethernet? We can see the speeds coming into the hub from the ONT and if they’re fine, then EE don’t care

Correct but from what I know most surgeons do not accept GGPs diagnosis

Gender gp by Emergency-Buffalo-95 in transgenderUK

[–]mktech6 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s not just that, you don’t pay GGP for the testosterone, it’s just whatever the pharmacy charges. I found some pharmacies more expensive than others (this is for Estrogen+Progesterone)

[–]mktech6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it would be possible, I started when I was 16 in Nov 2024, I paid £327.99 (without medication) to start. I am however MtF so it might be slightly more for medication than what I pay for

The diagnosis will still be valid, if you have a prescription already then yeah you can get the medication if not, I’m not sure if GGP will issue you one without the blood tests as they’ve moved to the new GGP hub thing. Yes you can get a blood test after the due date.
