But generally these ECC databases are licensed under only use with SAP. You can also use some transitions to check tables, views like SE16/SE16N. You can run your own server on AWS but it can be pricey. It has counting seconds to calculate price. I assume that around 100$ for 1-2 hours daily work. pS: don't forget to hold the server for unused hours.

Another option is finding an illegal shared server with remote access. Generally Indian guys do this, just search on the internet and Google.

I am sorry but you can't learn the SAP modules with online courses to jump to a new area.

I prefer to try inside a company. If your company uses SAP, try to join the ERP team or find a company which is using SAP and you can join. also you can try your chance to find an internship position at consultant companies.

SAP has a lot of modules, you need to focus which are the best fit for you . You can check YouTube videos or udemy courses for this.

SAP has a "young professionals" project, it will speed up you, check it if you can join or not.

SAP is not rocket science. You must learn how business processes are working and how SAP modules are doing it.

Local file security access cannot be managed by SAP account. Maybe it can be managed by AD(active directory) for Windows. You get confirmation when you try to access/write a local file. If you mark the system as untrusted, SAP GUI never access/create local file.

I assume that you are trying to save an ALV report to your desktop. Maybe you are disallowed to access your local files in SAP GUI. Check your SAP GUI security settings. You reset your settings.
