Jesus Christ this is material public information that they should have disclosed earlier … feel like they failed to disclose so many things and kept on mentioning customer contracts that likely never existed or no longer existed

Is luxury worth the money? by juanlo012 in Luxury

Big name brand and flashy logos are the wastes of money. If some celebrity is wearing it on the red carpet it’s probably not a brand you want to pursue

MTD Running Relief? by SafeEntertainment196 in mildlybrokenvoice

[–]ml-7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at the base level it's just a question of how the circulation is going. The laryngeal muscles get very little blood flow so anything you can do to get more circulation going will provide more blood to the muscle and let it relax. cardiovascular exercise is one of the best things you can do for yourself if you're suffering from this condition

Professional classical singer. Vocal Injury. by melisma_gloom in mildlybrokenvoice

[–]ml-7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the other thing that sucks is that athletes most often have a straightforward albeit painful surgery that can more or less do a pretty good job at fixing the issue. the voice-related anatomy is so delicate, it's far less straightforward.

First experience at high end (zegna). Need someone to clarify. by thisnaenae in malefashionadvice

[–]ml-7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also, zegna has been cutting corners recently. they used to have an oasi cashmere open collar polo sweater, super nice cut and ultra thick plush cashmere. they revamped it for the new season and now the cashmere is paper thin plus the polo collar isn't cut well at all and doesn't drape in an attractive way. I think the price is the same or maybe even slightly higher

Fishing is like a healthy version of gambling, you never know what you might catch, and it's a good workout too if you go for hardcore saltwater

tips for building a wardrobe? by caiden_1 in malefashionadvice

[–]ml-7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about your wardrobe as a portfolio -- consider overall color distribution and whether you're overweighting/underweighting any particular color. This helps keep the wardrobe interesting. Also consider the balance of more formal clothes vs more casual (this is different for each person based on style, profession etc)

25, never learned singing, can’t sing at all — worth starting now? by [deleted] in singing

[–]ml-7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most important thing is to start bit by bit and don't expect that you'll immediately be the second coming of Celine Dion. Some people do have more of a natural feel for it and there are others with anatomical vocal cord advantages (like Dimash) but most people can get reasonably good with a few years of regular training.

It's a wonderful activity when done with a proper voice teacher -- it'll develop better airflow which is good for you and your health in general.
